Csgo Assault - Assault (cs_assault), renamed Supply Point Assault in Counter-Strike and renamed Laundry Assault in Counter-Strike: Source, featured in Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source, and Counter-Strike: Global Assault Hostage Rescue A map.
The counter-terrorists have to rescue the hostages who have been held by a group of terrorists and placed in a warehouse. Despite being included in Counter-Strike and Counter-Strike: Source, both versions are known for their extreme differences. Counter-Strike: The Source came with a very realistic approach with the exception of security cameras. In addition to the removal of the cameras, one of the major changes was the replacement of the highway with the train station. Some players were disappointed with the new changes, but they are still in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Even so, Assault remains one of the most popular maps in all Counter-Strike games.

This map is considered unbalanced and gives the terrorist team an advantage as they can easily swarm around the higher parts of the map, including the warehouse. According to the source, the problem was somewhat negated as the store has an additional entry point on the second floor at the rear entrance. In Global Offensive, CTs can shoot Ts from rooftops because of windows, further balancing the map.

The map is medium in size and offers a good base for players who specialize in sniper weapons or other types of weapons, and players have many invasion choices to make to sneak behind enemy lines.
This map is medium in size and relatively easy for beginners to memorize. Although the texture design of cs_assault is considered unbalanced, it has a strong popularity among Counter-Strike players. Additionally, there are many ways in which both groups can sneak through concentrated enemy lines.
When it comes to hotspots on this map, the warehouse contains a lot of fighting both outside and inside so make sure you are well equipped to participate in or withstand a siege. But the building's roof and anti-terrorist spawn zone also see some activity, especially when a handful of survivors show up in a shootout.

Sniping activity is concentrated around the warehouse roof and bridge/rail tracks. Basically, the CTs should retain control of the bridges/railroads and the terrorist group can focus on the warehouse roof for sniper support. In the old Counter-Strike games, all the hostages were found in the security room. But in Global Offensive, hostages can be found in the security room, inside the hangar, or even on ground level (although they're always at least near the hangar).
Note that on this map, terrorists can rush through any area very quickly if your team doesn't take care of their defenses. If the entire enemy team works together, they can effectively eliminate counter-terrorists by trapping lone players, forcing them to retreat by creating confusion and firing bullets in all directions.
To avoid suffering this fate, remember that cs_assault is a very unique map because you have two ways to fight the enemy players. As your team tries to rescue all the hostages or eliminate the opposing force, you will rush or engage terrorists inside and outside the warehouse.

Getting through the store can be a bit of a challenge as there are three entrances. They are ventilation shaft, main door and side door. Be careful how you move through these entrances as the terrorist group is also on the lookout for these risky routes.
If you take a valve, this invasion has a glitch in the way where your feet can partially stick out and be visible to other enemy players (fixed at the source). Additionally, movement and noise can be easily seen, leading attackers to "wallbang" (the act of shooting through visible surfaces) through vents and potentially kill you. As a result, human players will only use vent at the beginning of the turn (as a terrorist) or as a last resort.
It may be tempting to enter the main entrance, but this is where the terrorists have the height to eliminate you. Instead, use smoke grenades and flashbangs to stun and distract enemy players while your other counter-terrorists can sneak in through side doors and ventilation shafts. If done right. The enemy team can no longer keep the stock position.
As for the side door, this entrance is only recommended when the entire terrorist group is distracted or has left the warehouse (which is highly unlikely). This door makes a loud noise when opening or closing, so be careful when walking through this area.

Counter-strike: In the source, the upper side door offers a better foothold, taking you straight up into the warehouse. This is important to keep in mind because your teammates can provide information about the enemy team's activities. If you are armed with a sniper rifle like an AWP and have good reflexes, it is possible to take out the terrorists on the lower floors of the warehouse. In this version of the map, the hostage room is more complicated, so watch out for potential terrorist campers in the room and use flashbangs to secure entry. In CS:GO, prepare a smoke bomb if the terrorists use Molotov cocktails to cover the entrance.
In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, there are several windows on the roof that can be broken to allow terrorists to hide inside the warehouse. Use this advantage to kill all the terrorists below. However, smashing the windows will alert the terrorists, so be sure to smash all three windows far enough apart that it will be difficult for the terrorists to know exactly which window the player is currently using. A window can give a player a full view of the warehouse and is ideal for running an ambush when your teammates are distracted by some terrorists.
Finally, cooperation and coordination with your other team members are important factors to remember if you and your team want to emerge as the winning team in cs_assault.
The warehouse offers many convenient spots for campers and snipers, especially on the upper floors of the building. Additionally, ambushes can be planned throughout the building, strengthening the terrorist group's defenses against counter-terrorists. In most cases, the round will be in your team's favor as you and your team members can easily win without any effort.

But while terrorists tend to sit back and camp inside the warehouse, CTs will plan their infiltration routes aggressively and smartly. To prevent the enemy team from surprising you with a nasty ambush, you should remember that there are three main entrances in the entire warehouse, which are the ventilation shaft, the main entrance and the side door. In general, if there are enough team members, monitoring these entrances should easily detect any suspicious activity, especially when there is a terrorist informant on the top floor.
